Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, has launched the ‘SoworeNow’ mobile app to boost political mobilization ahead of Nigeria's 2027 elections.

The app, available on Android and iOS, is designed as a comprehensive platform for supporters to register, receive campaign updates, volunteer for activities, make donations, and access information.

Key features include user registration, a news section for updates, volunteer management tools, event coordination, donation capabilities, and a reward system for volunteers.The app also has a digital wallet for processing donations and real-time notifications for campaign activities.

Political analysts note this reflects a trend of Nigerian politicians using digital tools to engage younger voters who rely on smartphones and social media.The app aims to create a central hub for AAC supporters, integrating news, fundraising, and volunteer coordination.

Sowore emphasized that the app is a tool for real change, enabling direct engagement with supporters and mobilizing the movement for the 2027 elections.
