The Acetrea Cancer Advocacy Network (ACAN) has launched an initiative to enhance cancer care by supporting oncology nurses’ professional development.ACAN is seeking sponsorship to send three exceptional nurses to the Oncology Nursing Society of Nigeria (ONSN) 2026 Conference, scheduled for August 12–14 in Abuja, Nigeria.

The conference theme, “Cancer Care in Action: Uniting Voices, Shaping the Future Together,” emphasizes collaboration and knowledge sharing in oncology care.

Sponsorship funds will cover registration, travel, and accommodation for selected nurses, enabling them to gain advanced knowledge, connect with leading professionals, and bring valuable insights back to their local communities.

ACAN highlights that supporting this program strengthens nursing education, builds leadership and advocacy capacity, enhances cancer awareness, and improves patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.Organizations, corporations, foundations, healthcare institutions, and individuals are encouraged to partner with ACAN in this effort.
