The Action Democratic Party (ADP) presidential candidate, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, has been officially presented to his supporters in Kano State as political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nigeria.

The unveiling event was organised by the Aliyu Bin Abbas Organisation and held at the Bristol Palace Hotel, Kano, attracting a wide range of supporters including youths, women groups, professionals, entertainers, and other political stakeholders.The gathering was described as the formal launch of Abbas’ presidential campaign movement.

According to a statement from his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Jacob Dickson, the event featured several prominent personalities who openly declared support for Abbas, praising his vision for national development and unity.

One of the key figures at the event, popular singer and filmmaker Ali Jita, who serves as the National Convener of the organisation, said he established the movement based on his belief that Nigeria needs visionary leadership capable of restoring public trust in governance and improving national development outcomes.Speaking at the occasion, Abbas described the unveiling as the beginning of a people-driven movement built on hope and collective responsibility.He said the strong turnout and enthusiasm shown by supporters reflected a shared desire for a better Nigeria.He emphasised his commitment to building a nation where justice, peace, and equal opportunities will thrive for all citizens.

Abbas further commended Ali Jita for his support, noting that the involvement of entertainers and young people was inspiring renewed confidence in political participation.He stressed that with unity and faith, his administration would work towards creating opportunities and restoring dignity for Nigerians.The ADP is expected to be one of the political parties participating in the 2027 general elections as preparations intensify across the country.
