The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has honored two Philippine Navy personnel wounded during a territorial defense operation near Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea.

Newly appointed AFP chief of staff General Antonio Nafarrete conferred the Wounded Personnel Medal on the sailors during a visit to Camp Ricarte Station Hospital.
