A high-level delegation from the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) visited Bashe Dairy Farm Limited Tanzania in Uyui District, Tabora Region, to assess its modern milk production and processing capabilities.

The visit, led by Prof Jean Jacques Mbonigaba Muhinda, AGRA’s Regional Director, was part of an evaluation of the Youth Entrepreneurship for the Future of Food and Agriculture (YEFFA) Programme.The farm, owned by Hussein Bashe (Member of Parliament for Nzega Urban), showcases Tanzania’s shift toward technology-driven agriculture.The delegation included key AGRA officials and observed how the farm contributes to economic growth through increased productivity.

Bashe emphasized the need for continued support to modernize both crop farming and livestock keeping, aligning with national goals to transform agriculture.

The visit highlights AGRA’s focus on youth engagement in agricultural entrepreneurship, addressing unemployment and food security while promoting sustainable practices in Tanzania’s expanding urban markets.
