Alabama Shakes have announced the release of their third studio album, titled 'I Must Be Dreaming', set for an August 28 drop via Island Records.

The band, comprising Brittany Howard, Heath Fogg, and Zac Cockrell, returned after a hiatus since 2018 with their first new music in over a decade, 'Another Life'.

This latest project explores themes of love, mortality, and modern life's contradictions, blending psychedelic soul with 1960s British rock influences.The album's title carries dual meanings, reflecting both the chaos and beauty of contemporary society.A single, 'I Feel Hope Coming', will be released on July 10, highlighting generational optimism amid political turmoil.Howard expressed hope for younger audiences' discernment, while Fogg praised the track's collaborative joy.Recorded in Nashville with producer Shawn Everett, the album expands on their sophomore effort 'Sound & Color'.Meanwhile, Howard's solo work and the band's recent reunion at a surprise Alabama gig underscore their ongoing creative journey.
