Speaking at a conference with 119 border district police officers, Shah emphasized the Modi government's commitment to curbing unnatural population growth through a proactive approach.

He highlighted infiltration as the primary cause of demographic shifts in border areas and announced the establishment of a Demography Mission to study these changes.

The initiative aims to create a quadrangular security grid to strengthen border security, shifting India's strategy from reactive to proactive measures.Shah also mentioned plans to apply a similar comprehensive approach to coastal border security, ensuring complete infiltration prevention.
