Andrea Johnson, head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (Idac), testified at the Madlanga commission of inquiry regarding allegations that she disclosed a criminal docket to Maj-Gen Feroz Khan.

Johnson stated that the subpoena requesting details about the alleged disclosure was vague, lacking specifics such as the docket number, timing, and nature of the information shared.She requested additional details and submitted a supplementary affidavit after realizing the need for clarity.

Evidence leader Mahlape Sello questioned whether Johnson had disclosed multiple dockets, but she clarified there was only one, and her memory was jogged during testimony.Retired Hawks Col Kobus Roelofse noted the timing of the docket sharing as improper conduct.

Johnson also refuted claims that the arrest of SAPS intelligence chief Dumisani Khumalo was politically motivated, emphasizing the investigation was based on corruption allegations.The commission continues its public hearings as the inquiry progresses.
