The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has officially welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to confirm Governor Biodun Oyebanji as the valid candidate of the party for the June 20 governorship election.The party hailed the ruling as a victory for internal democracy, the rule of law, and the collective decision of APC members.They urged supporters to unite behind the governor and support his administration's efforts to improve citizens' lives.

The legal battle, initiated by APC aspirant Abimbola Olawunmi, who challenged the outcome of the party's primary, was resolved after the Supreme Court dismissed Olawunmi's appeal and upheld the Court of Appeal's decision.

The APC praised Oyebanji for remaining calm and focused despite the legal challenges, emphasizing his commitment to governance, development, and inclusiveness.
