The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has called on the APC government to provide a detailed account of the trillions of naira generated from removing fuel subsidies since May 2023.The party claims that despite the promised benefits, Nigerians are facing worsening poverty, high living costs, and infrastructure deficits.APM criticizes the APC for failing to transparently show how the funds are being used, with reports of corruption and mismanagement.

The party highlights that fuel prices skyrocketed from below ₦200 to over ₦1,500 per litre, causing a ripple effect on transport, food, and other essential costs.

They urge the government to publish an independent impact assessment of the subsidy removal policy, emphasizing that citizens deserve to know how much has been spent and its effects on their lives.The APM stresses that economic reforms must focus on tangible improvements rather than vague promises.
