Nigerian singer Asake has added a new Maybach to his luxury car collection, confirming the purchase on Instagram as his 'In God We Trust' world tour continues.The acquisition was confirmed by both the singer and Lagos-based luxury car dealer Polanco Exotic Cars on social media.

The vehicle, a 2026 Mercedes-Benz Maybach SL 680 Monogram worth 1 billion naira, was bought from Polanco Autos, with the buyer referred to as 'Mr X' in the dealership's post.

This marks Asake's second Maybach, following his previous ownership of a Maybach GLS 600 and other high-end cars like a Brabus G800 and Mercedes-AMG G63.

The purchase comes as he promotes his fourth studio album, M$ney, during his 13-date 'In God We Trust' world tour, which includes stops in Portugal, North America, and Paris.The tour follows his successful 2024 Madison Square Garden performance and continues his expansion into international markets.

Fans and commentators have speculated about the car's cost and significance, with Asake using luxury purchases as visible markers of his commercial success, a trend common among top Nigerian entertainers.
