During the phone conversation, the caller allegedly mocked Ibrahim's father, Ahmed Owoduni, and boasted say security agencies never fit arrest am despite ongoing investigations.The suspect also claimed say the child still dey Anambra and even sarcastically asked whether the father wanted to speak with him.He reportedly encouraged the father to continue spending money on police tracking efforts while insisting the authorities would not find am.
The caller also mentioned him sister, who is reportedly among suspects already in police custody, but claimed she no be the main person responsible for the alleged trafficking.He further suggested that releasing his sister could lead to Ibrahim's release.Previous investigations reportedly linked the disappearance to CCTV footage showing a neighbour allegedly leading the child away before he vanished.Police later arrested several suspects, including individuals alleged to have transported and sold the child before taking him to Anambra.Although the child's father reportedly funded a police trip to Anambra in an attempt to recover his son, the operation did not succeed.
Investigators now suspect say an organised child trafficking network may be operating between Lagos and Anambra, while efforts to locate Ibrahim continue.
