A statue commemorating the 1992 and 1993 World Series championship Toronto Blue Jays has been unveiled outside Rogers Centre, capturing Joe Carter mid-jump after his iconic walk-off home run in the 1993 final.Located at the southeast corner of the ballpark near Gate 5, the sculpture marks the franchise's 50th anniversary.Nearly 30 alumni from the championship teams attended the ceremony, including Carter, 1992 World Series MVP Pat Borders, and 1993 MVP Paul Molitor.The statue replaces a previous tribute to former owner Edward S.Rogers, who passed away in 2008.This moment symbolizes a pivotal era in Blue Jays history, celebrating the team's resilience and success during the 1990s.
