A group of youths and students in Maiduguri, Borno State, held a protest to demand the government take action to free schoolchildren kidnapped in Mussa and Lassa communities.They carried placards with messages like 'Say No to Terrorism' and 'Together We Stand Against Criminality.

' The protesters urged the federal government to deploy resources to rescue the abducted students, citing previous successes in rescuing pupils from Oriire, Oyo State.They also warned against paying ransom, stating it encourages more kidnappings.One protester expressed frustration over the lack of attention given to recent abductions in Borno compared to earlier cases in Oyo.

The rally emphasized unity against terrorism and called for government support to empower youths through jobs and training to prevent them from engaging in criminal activities.Participants also urged residents to back security agencies in ending the Boko Haram insurgency, while demanding better equipment for these forces.
