Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been arrested in Miami following an extradition request from British authorities.The brothers face 59 charges, including seven counts of rape against Andrew and two counts of rape against Tristan, along with allegations of arranging or facilitating sexual exploitation, indecent images of a child, and extreme pornography.The charges stem from incidents alleged to have occurred between July 2010 and August 2017, with the total number of alleged victims now at seven.

Bedfordshire Police confirmed collaboration with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and international law enforcement agencies on this complex investigation.

The Tate brothers previously denied wrongdoing, with their lawyer Joseph McBride accusing the UK authorities of a 'political hit' aimed at countering a defamation case filed by the siblings in the US.

This marks an escalation of legal proceedings, as the CPS had already charged them with 21 criminal offences in a separate case involving three alleged victims for Andrew and one for Tristan.

Their arrest follows prior investigations into allegations of forming a criminal gang for sexual exploitation, with their Romanian residence raided twice since 2022.
