The city government of San Jose del Monte in Bulacan has officially declared PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp.as an unwelcome enterprise following numerous complaints about its water supply services.

A resolution passed by the Sangguniang Panlungsod highlights deficiencies in the company's operations, including negligence, operational failures, and poor maintenance of the city's water system.

These issues caused widespread and prolonged water interruptions, deteriorated critical infrastructure, and posed risks to public health, safety, and welfare.The city council condemned PrimeWater's lack of cooperation, stating the company repeatedly ignored government requests to address the problems.

Authorities have urged multiple agencies, including the Department of Health and the Local Water Utilities Administration, to investigate further and impose sanctions.Meanwhile, Metro Pacific Water has been temporarily appointed as the city's water provider for two months.

The decision reflects growing public frustration with PrimeWater's performance and underscores the importance of reliable water services in urban areas.
