A 31-year-old Sacramento woman, Brittany Clark, died after being attacked by an alligator in Florida on June 28, 2026.The incident occurred during a hike with her boyfriend and a friend near Orlando, where Clark and her group took a break to swim in the Econlockhatchee River.The alligator bit her on both arms while she was swimming in 3 feet of water.Her boyfriend, Chance Allison, called law enforcement after the attack, and Clark succumbed to her injuries en route to the hospital.
