While some recommendations align with ongoing government initiatives, others call for accelerated action, such as expanding frameworks for foreign regulatory reliance and prioritizing drug approvals for cancer treatments and vaccines.

The federal government has pledged to review the proposals within three months, emphasizing the importance of a competitive, innovative life sciences industry in Canada’s global strategy.
