Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS), has vowed to counter foreign-sponsored proxies' efforts to destabilize Balochistan.

Speaking at the 20th National Workshop Balochistan, Munir emphasized that sustained efforts by security forces and law enforcement, backed by public support, will bring lasting peace to the province.

He reiterated Pakistan's commitment to dismantling terrorist infrastructure and eliminating threats posed by groups like Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

The CDF highlighted that foreign-backed proxies have sought to fuel violence and disrupt stability, but assured that their 'nefarious designs' will be thwarted through decisive military action.

The ISPR statement noted the importance of resilience and unity in the face of external aggression, underscoring Pakistan's resolve to protect its sovereignty.This comes amid ongoing security challenges in Balochistan, where targeted operations continue to address terrorism and its facilitators.
