Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu announced a transformative roadmap for Kuppam, aiming to establish it as a hub for horticulture, food processing, and agro-based industries.The plan includes partnerships with ITC and Vishalakshi Innovations to promote organized cultivation and advanced farming practices.

ITC's initiative to cultivate 10,000 tonnes of tomatoes under controlled conditions for export, with an investment of ₹8 crore, highlights the focus on technology-driven agriculture.

The government also emphasized infrastructure development, including roads and irrigation, while encouraging private sector investments in poultry, dairy, and food processing.Projects worth ₹10,000 crore are in the pipeline, with companies like ABIS and Mother Dairy showing interest.Naidu urged farmers to adopt modern equipment and focus on globally demanded crops to boost incomes and create market linkages.Additionally, the government plans to explore gold deposits in Chittoor district to accelerate economic growth and employment.
