China is significantly developing Antelope Reef in the South China Sea, positioning it as a strategic military and political asset.The reef, located in the Paracel Islands, has undergone major dredging and construction since 2023, with reclaimed land reaching 602 hectares.This development marks China's largest artificial island project in the region since 2017.
