The Democratic Alliance (DA) has confirmed it will unveil its election manifesto in Johannesburg on August 8, ahead of the local government elections.

National campaign manager Ashor Sarupen emphasized that the manifesto, which outlines the party's promises to South Africa, is built on years of governance experience and addresses challenges faced by local governments.

Co-campaign manager Werner Horn noted the DA's proactive approach, contrasting it with other parties' delays in announcing mayoral candidates.
