Singh highlighted the government's focus on equipping the armed forces with the latest technology and underscored the importance of nationalistic sentiment in safeguarding India.The speech came as part of a two-day programme commemorating the Kargil Vijay Diwas, which marks the culmination of Operation Vijay in 1999.
