The six-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom property, featuring 240 feet of water frontage, a pool, spa, and private dock, was purchased by JFStar LLC, a real estate holding company in Newport News, Virginia.The buyer financed part of the acquisition with an $18.5 million mortgage from Axos Bank.The 1940s-era home, expanded in 1995, remains in Combs' ownership alongside the adjacent main house.
The sale occurs as Combs, 56, serves a prison sentence at Fort Dix for two prostitution charges, with more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges dismissed.His legal team continues appealing the conviction, with Combs described as actively engaged in the process.While incarcerated, Combs is reported to be shelving books, exercising, and participating in a drug abuse program.Federal agents found drugs in his hotel room during arrest, and he admitted to losing his way to drugs in a pre-sentence letter.The sale highlights his financial decisions amid legal challenges.
