The EU–Tanzania Investment and Business Forum 2026–2027 aims to strengthen economic ties between Tanzania and the European Union by fostering investment partnerships in key sectors like agriculture, energy, minerals, and digital innovation.

The initiative will begin with European roadshows in Helsinki, Emilia-Romagna, and The Hague in September and October 2026, followed by a high-level forum in Dar es Salaam in early 2027.

The forum will focus on sectors such as agriculture, critical minerals, renewable energy, and fintech, promoting business-to-business, business-to-finance, and business-to-government collaborations.

The European Union’s Global Gateway strategy supports this cooperation, emphasizing infrastructure, digital transformation, and sustainable development.Tanzania’s economic priorities include industrialization, value addition, and attracting foreign investment.

The forum is expected to involve European companies, Tanzanian businesses, government representatives, and development institutions, aiming to enhance trade cooperation and private sector growth.The event aligns with broader EU-Tanzania partnerships to drive sustainable economic development and investment.
