A confrontation at Sam’s house sees the use of a wall of old televisions, whose light frequency destabilises the creatures and leads to Anneliese’s disintegration, while Blaine is severely weakened.In the resolution, Mother heals the injured Judy and reunites with her offspring in a cave.In a final act of devastation and release, she unleashes a powerful energy burst that kills both herself and Blaine.

Sam survives the ordeal and later finds closure, celebrating with his family and friends, while the community is left to reckon with the aftermath of the Shaws’ exploitation.
