Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo highlighted the initiative as part of efforts to enhance public servants' welfare through partnerships with private developers.He emphasized that affordable housing reduces economic burdens on officers, boosting productivity.Kemi Nandap, Comptroller-General of NIS, called it a major investment in staff well-being, noting decent housing provides security and stability.The project, developed with Abiskoly Real Estate Developers, aims to address long-standing housing challenges faced by immigration personnel.Nandap urged beneficiaries to maintain the estate properly, warning against neglect.

President of NIMCOS, Salihu Dauda, described it as a transformative welfare initiative, stressing that home ownership offers dignity and economic empowerment.The cooperative plans to replicate the model in Kuje District with another 1,500 units.This project underscores the government's commitment to improving public service delivery through strategic investments in staff welfare.
