Former Minister Calls for Investigation into PFIPC Scandal Involving Key Officials

Former Minister Solomon Dalung has accused President Bola Tinubu, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu of being responsible for the PFIPC scandal.

Dalung claims these officials, including the Director-General of DSS and EFCC Chairman, played roles in an embarrassing episode involving businessman Adeyemi Adeniyi, who allegedly accessed the Presidential Villa without authorization.

He argues that the Chief of Staff is the prime suspect, as they control access to the President's office and may have misled the President or withheld critical information.

Dalung also highlighted irregularities in the Chief of Staff's office, referencing the Betta Edu scandal, and called for a thorough investigation into the alleged activities of Adeniyi and the involvement of top officials.

The Presidency has dismissed claims about Adeniyi, calling him an impostor, but Dalung insists the Chief of Staff must be scrutinized to uncover the truth.
