Four individuals, identified as two married couples from Honduras, tragically drowned in the Scioto River in Ohio on Sunday while attempting to rescue a struggling swimmer.

The victims—Miguel Ángel Guerra, Carmen Idalia Lara Ferrera, José Mario Pineda, and Marina Suyapa Regalado Miranda—were on a fishing trip when they decided to assist a person in distress.However, they were swept away by the fast-moving and powerful current, resulting in their deaths.
