French Authorities Report About 10 New Victims in Epstein Human Trafficking Probe

French authorities have reported that approximately ten new suspected victims have come forward in the ongoing investigation into the network of the late U.S.financier Jeffrey Epstein. The probe, focused on human trafficking, was launched after the U.S.Department of Justice released additional Epstein files in January 2026.French magistrates are investigating possible crimes committed in France or facilitated by French nationals.

Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau stated that around 20 victims had previously identified themselves following a February appeal for potential victims to speak up, but about ten of them are entirely new to the investigation. Some of these victims reside abroad, and authorities are coordinating meetings to accommodate their availability.

Investigators are reviewing Epstein's computers, phone records, address books, and other documents from the case, with international cooperation requested as needed.French authorities had earlier searched Epstein's Paris apartment in 2019.

Previous investigations involved European modeling agents linked to abuse, and although some cases could not be prosecuted due to statute-of-limitations constraints, arrests and investigations continued into related figures. The probe highlights ongoing efforts to identify victims and potential perpetrators associated with Epstein's criminal network in France.
