Brandi Glanville discusses health concerns and possible throat infection linked to ringworm exposure
The International University of Management (IUM), led by founder and chairperson David Namwandi, announced plans to establish a 120-bed private hospital near Ondangwa, expected to open by mid-2027.
The hospital, situated approximately 3 km northwest of Ondangwa, will not only provide medical services but also function as a training center in collaboration with Namibia's Ministry of Health and Social Services.This initiative is part of IUM’s broader strategy to expand its infrastructure and academic offerings across the country.
Currently, the university operates campuses in the Ohangwena, Erongo, Khomas, Kavango West, and Oshana regions, serving a student population of 28,500 in the current academic year.IUM offers 122 accredited programs, including courses in nuclear science, gas, energy, nursing, and medical specialties.
Beyond education, the university has invested in research and media, launching the Swakopmund Research, Training and Conference Centre, a water institute, and IUM Radio services in 2024.
Namwandi emphasized the institution’s commitment to supporting national development by producing skilled professionals and contributing to economic reconstruction.
At the recent winter convocation ceremony in Ongwediva, 1,225 students graduated, with an additional 2,060 expected to graduate in Windhoek, totaling 3,285 graduates this season.
