World No.1 Jannik Sinner continued his impressive Wimbledon campaign by defeating Japan’s Shintaro Mochizuki in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(6), 6-3, to reach the quarterfinals for the fifth consecutive year.The victory also extended Sinner’s Wimbledon winning streak to 11 matches as the defending champion continued his pursuit of another title.Despite the straight-set scoreline, Sinner emphasized that the match was far more challenging than it appeared.

He praised Mochizuki for his performance, noting that the Japanese player’s style is particularly effective on grass courts and congratulated him on an outstanding tournament after advancing from the qualifying rounds to the fourth round.Sinner said he managed a few key moments better than his opponent but acknowledged the high level of tennis Mochizuki produced throughout the match.
