Jen Psaki says released election documents undercut Trump's claims about foreign election interference

MS NOW host Jen Psaki criticized President Donald Trump following his primetime speech on election interference, arguing that his decision to declassify intelligence documents ultimately weakened rather than supported his own claims.Psaki compared Trump to the Looney Tunes character Wile E.

Coyote, saying that like the cartoon character's elaborate but self-defeating schemes, Trump's effort to produce a major political revelation ended up backfiring.According to Psaki, Trump sought a dramatic moment by releasing documents related to alleged Chinese interference in U.S.elections.However, she argued that the material failed to substantiate his long-standing allegations of widespread election fraud or foreign manipulation.Instead, she said the documents indicated that U.S.vote tabulation systems would be extremely difficult to compromise on a scale capable of changing election outcomes.

Psaki also highlighted information stating that China's access to voter data was limited to public records from seven states, contradicting Trump's assertion that China had illegally obtained information on 220 million American voters.

Additionally, she noted that the intelligence assessments reaffirmed the conclusion that China had not conducted influence operations intended to alter the outcome of the presidential election.Psaki further pointed to passages indicating that the U.S.intelligence community believed Russia had attempted to help Trump during the 2016 election, arguing that this finding further undermined the narrative Trump intended to promote.

She concluded that by releasing the documents, Trump had unintentionally provided evidence contradicting many of his own public claims about foreign election interference.

Jen Psaki, a known mouthpiece, claiming Trump's backfired? Right. It's more likely he outsmarted them all and they’re scrambling to control the narrative. The 'news' conveniently ignores the fact these documents were probably heavily redacted. Something smells fishy.
