Tanzania's Minister for Home Affairs, Patrobas Katambi, during a graduation ceremony for new police officers and assistant inspectors at Kurasini in Dar es Salaam, stressed the need for professionalism, discipline, and loyalty within the security forces.He assured that officers must follow the law, act fairly, and uphold their oath to serve the nation even after retirement.Katambi highlighted that maintaining integrity and ethical conduct is crucial for building public trust in law enforcement.

He also urged families, communities, and religious institutions to actively support the government in preserving Tanzania’s moral values and reducing crime.The minister acknowledged that while the government and security forces work hard to ensure peace, criminal elements will continue to exist.
