Nairobi Regional Police Commander Issa Mohamud emphasized that restricted areas like Parliament would remain secure, with commuters subject to screening.While businesses operated normally, transport faced delays due to police checks.Civil society groups had called for protests demanding accountability over past incidents, but authorities warned against unlawful gatherings.The security operation aimed to avoid repeating previous chaos during Saba Saba commemorations.
