The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has introduced an e-Certificate portal, allowing KCSE candidates to access, download, and verify their examination certificates online.This digital platform aims to simplify the process, reducing the need for physical visits to KNEC offices.Users can register on the portal at https://ecertificate.knec.ac.ke, providing personal details and paying KSh 1,500 per certificate via M-Pesa or online payment.Once registered, applicants can generate their certificates by entering their KCSE index number and examination details.The system automatically verifies information before processing payments, after which certificates are available in PDF format.The platform also enables users to send verification reports to employers or universities electronically.

KNEC emphasized that this initiative is part of its efforts to digitize examination services, enhancing efficiency and accessibility for learners and stakeholders.
