Four research teams from Kwara State University (KWASU) have secured competitive research grants from two renowned funding organisations, reaffirming the university’s growing reputation for research excellence.
At the international level, a team led by Bolatito Olanipekun received a $43,913 grant from TWAS-UNESCO, while three teams under the 2025 National Research Fund (NRF) scheme were successful.Abdulwaheed Musa’s team got N37,590,000, Kehinde Alabi’s team secured N25,000,000, and Khafayat Olatinwo’s team was awarded N20,435,900.The Vice-Chancellor, Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, praised the achievements, highlighting the university’s support for impactful research and innovation.
