Liverpool FC has announced that Arne Slot will depart from his role as head coach with immediate effect, with the club initiating the process to appoint a successor.

Slot, who arrived in June 2024, steered Liverpool to their 20th league title in his first season (2024-25) and earned the LMA Manager of the Year award, overseeing a campaign that included a Carabao Cup final appearance and a deep run in the Champions League, reaching the quarter-finals in 2025-26.
