Zimbabwean international Elvis Chipezeze has pledged his loyalty to Magesi as the club adapts to life in the Motsepe Foundation Championship following their relegation from the Betway Premiership.

The goalkeeper, who joined Magesi from Baroka in 2022, emphasized his decision to stay despite interest from other clubs, stating he wants to 'build memories again with the club' and help achieve a swift return to the top flight.Chipezeze acknowledged the challenges of competing in the second tier but stressed the importance of unity and preparation.He highlighted that while the transition will be mentally and physically demanding, the team must remain positive and focus on incremental progress.

Magesi's relegation came after losing the PSL Promotional playoffs to Milford in June, leaving them with a daunting task to rebuild and reclaim their place in the Premiership.
