The Manipur Police has initiated a significant administrative change by transferring and posting 83 officers across various police stations, command units, and specialized wings.

The reshuffle, ordered by Director General of Police (DGP) Mukesh Singh, involves moving inspectors and junior commissioned officers to different roles, including vigilance departments, traffic units, and key districts.

Notable transfers include Inspector Kshetrimayum Naresh Kumar being moved from Imphal Police Station to the vigilance department, while Inspector Khumukcham Bedajit takes charge of Porompat Police Station.Other shifts involve reassigning officers to handle traffic management, intelligence, and narcotics units.The move also affects specialized departments like the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and Manipur Police Training College (MPTC).The directive emphasizes implementing these transfers promptly and submitting compliance reports.This reshuffle aims to streamline operations in the strife-torn state, ensuring better coordination across diverse police functions.
