Tanzanian music icons Marioo and Juma Jux are set to represent their country at the 2026 AFRIMMA Music Fest in Dallas, Texas, scheduled for September 12.

The event, held at Annette Strauss Square, will feature African artists like Nigerian acts BNXN and Ruger, celebrating pan-African music culture through performances, food, and cultural experiences.

For Marioo and Jux, the festival marks a pivotal moment in their careers, as they compete for the Best Male Artist – East Africa award at the same event.The AFRIMMA Awards ceremony will also take place in Dallas, with Tanzania showing strong representation.
