Marvel Studios has officially cast British actor David Jonsson as Prince T’Challa in Black Panther 3, marking the next generation of Wakanda.The announcement was made during Marvel’s Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, with director Ryan Coogler confirming his return to helm the sequel.The film, set for release on December 15, 2028, will feature Jonsson portraying the adult T’Challa, son of the late Chadwick Boseman’s King T’Challa.This decision honors Boseman’s legacy while advancing the story through a new generation of Wakandan heroes.Jonsson joins Letitia Wright and Winston Duke on the cast, with Denzel Washington also set to appear in an undisclosed role.
