McLaren Circus is providing Durban families with a live entertainment option during the winter school holidays by staging performances under its iconic big top near Suncoast Casino until 17 July.
The travelling production features a variety of traditional circus acts, including aerial acrobatics, high-wire performances, juggling, comedy and theatrical entertainment, offering audiences of all ages an opportunity to enjoy a classic circus experience.After its Durban run, the circus is scheduled to move to the Bluff before continuing to Pietermaritzburg.
The performances arrive at a time when Durban is still waiting for the development of eThekwini Municipality's planned R1 billion beachfront amusement and entertainment park at the former Funworld site.Although the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, construction has yet to deliver the long-awaited attraction.
