Security forces conducted operations in Balochistan's Surab and Mastung districts over the past 48 hours, killing 10 terrorists and apprehending two female suicide bombers along with their facilitator.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated these actions are part of efforts to dismantle India-sponsored terrorist networks like Fitna-al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij.The operations resulted in seven casualties in Surab and three in Mastung, where the suicide bombers were captured.Weapons, ammunition, and explosive devices were recovered during the raids.ISPR emphasized ongoing sanitization efforts to eliminate remaining threats.Balochistan faces escalating security challenges, with a 109% surge in terrorist attacks compared to April.Recent operations follow Operation Shaban launched after a deadly attack on a police post in Ziarat.A June report highlighted Balochistan as the most affected province, noting 71 attacks in May.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pledged continued counter-terrorism efforts under 'Azm-i-Istehkam' to combat foreign-backed terrorism.
