In Mimaropa, which includes Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan, focus crimes such as murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, robbery, theft, carjacking, and motorcycle theft have decreased by 48.63% within two months, dropping from 183 cases in May to 94 cases this month.The region also recorded an 11.02% decline in overall crime incidents, from 944 to 840 cases during the same period.Peace and order indicator crimes fell by 24.68%, from 624 to 470 cases.Notable reductions include a 65.22% drop in physical injury cases, 52.27% in theft, 50.91% in rape, and 33.33% in murder.Brig.Gen.

Christopher dela Cruz, Mimaropa police director, attributed the improvement to intensified anti-crime efforts, increased police visibility, and strategic resource deployment.The decline highlights the effectiveness of targeted policing and community engagement in reducing criminal activities in the region.
