Each individual faces charges linked to specific meter numbers and calculated damages: Hashmi’s case involves Rs249,100 in losses, while his sons-in-law are implicated in amounts ranging from Rs245,600 to Rs247,600.The complaints were filed by Mepco’s Sub-Divisional Officer, Mohammad Bilal, after inspections revealed unauthorized loops in the meters.
