Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) launched missile and drone strikes on US military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to American attacks, according to state broadcaster IRIB.The strikes targeted 85 key US bases and downed an MQ-9 drone.

This comes after the US conducted a series of strikes against Iran, revoking an oil export license following attacks on oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.The conflict has disrupted the fragile ceasefire agreement between the two nations.Iran reported explosions on Kharg Island, a major oil hub, and damaged fishing piers in southern ports.The US military claimed to strike over 60 IRGC boats to disrupt Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping.Iran's foreign ministry condemned the US move as a breach of the ceasefire, vowing to take necessary measures to protect its interests.Qatar and Saudi Arabia also reported damage to oil tankers, adding to regional tensions.

The conflict threatens to derail ongoing negotiations for a permanent agreement, with US President Trump threatening further strikes if no deal is reached.
