A National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) official has gone missing in Karachi, prompting his family to approach the police for his recovery.

The incident occurred on July 20, when Fayyaz Ahmed Janjhi, an assistant director at Nadra, vanished after leaving his office at Ayesha Manzil around 6pm.His family reported that he had not returned home despite continuous attempts to contact him via phone, which was reportedly switched off.

The family submitted an application to Sindh Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho, urging authorities to register a missing persons complaint and locate Janjhi.His elder brother, Riaz Sohail, confirmed the police had assigned the case to Central Senior Superintendent of Police Imran Khan.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) expressed concern over the disappearance of Fayaz Janjhi, son of HRCP council member Sohail Sangi, and called for urgent action to ensure his safe recovery.The incident highlights concerns about missing persons in Karachi and the role of authorities in such cases.
