Nairobi County Government has awarded nearly 2,000 scholarship vouchers to vulnerable secondary school students, easing financial burdens on families and ensuring educational continuity.The initiative, part of Governor Johnson Sakaja's education agenda, targets 1,957 Form Three and Four learners from all 17 sub-counties.Parents praised the program for alleviating school fee costs and safeguarding children's education.

The scholarships are part of broader efforts to expand access to quality education for disadvantaged learners, including infrastructure improvements and the Dishi Na County school feeding program, which serves over 300,000 students.Officials emphasized that the program removes financial barriers, allowing bright but needy students to complete their education.
