The National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) is actively engaging with young people at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba) to promote careers in accounting and auditing.

The board has established a dedicated pavilion to provide career guidance, educational materials, and information on entry pathways into the profession.

Executive Director CPA Prof Siasa Mzenzi emphasized that the initiative aims to strengthen the accounting sector by offering step-by-step guidance on joining the field.The NBAA is also collaborating with the Ministry of Finance in a joint exhibition, allowing students to access resources from multiple organizations.This effort addresses the growing demand for qualified financial professionals in Tanzania’s expanding economy.The event serves as an educational platform, helping youth make informed decisions about their career paths.

The NBAA’s participation highlights the importance of professional standards and international benchmarks in the accounting sector, ensuring services meet global requirements.
